Since starting work in 1990 I have been involved in a large variety of projects including new build, refurbishment and alterations for a variety of Clients, from small private individual clients to residential and commercial developers, facilities managers, local authorities, health authorities and large commercial companies.

I have a great deal of experience working on both commercial and domestic projects from inception to completion. From carrying out measured and topographical surveys, the initial design, feasibility studies, site analysis, detail design including drawings and specification, project management and contract administration, cost control, site inspection, condition surveys, planned preventative maintenance plans and the provision of technical advice where required.

In addition to the above I am also regularly appointed by the Court, solicitors, companies and individuals to act and provide advice on a number of boundary disputes as Expert Witness. Providing advice on a variety of land use, ownership, rights of way and access, development and disputes. In addition to being appointed either by Claimant or Defendant I also accept appointment as Single Joint Expert and I am trained to provide appropriate CPR reports and I attend CPD appropriate to my role.

My training as a land surveyor, working initially for developers and house builders, included topographical surveys of the existing sites followed by setting out and surveys for land registration purposes. I also carried out a large variety of surveys of sites for commercial development and undertook surveys for other experts involved in land and boundary disputes. This provided the experience for later acting as a surveyor in a large number of boundary and land disputes.

I have also acted as Party Wall Surveyor within the practice and have experience in working with small domestic owners and large developers with complex sites and conditions.
